

Pedro Patricio Jiménez Gallardo is an award winning American-Chilean director, writer and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. He was raised in diverse cities and cultures: Guinea-Bissau, New York City and Santiago of Chile. He coursed his undergrad theater studies at UChile (2000) where he created a theater company and toured with plays through Chile and Italy. He completed his MFA in Film and TV Production at USC by writing and directing his thesis short film 'Tirachinas' (2017). His debut short film, 'Kids Don't Die' (2019) premiered at the New Filmmakers NY series at the Anthology Film Archive and won best short at Snowdance (2021) and Film Invasion LA (2020) and was part of the Hola Mexico Film Festival and the development program ‘Tomorrow’s Filmmakers Today’ presented by HBO, Warner Media and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. His next short film, 'I Did' (2023) is starting its international festival run.
